so finally i’ve gotten around to starting this new series of beach house paintings. This is a new series featuring old stilt houses that remind me of beach vacations when I was a kid. Yes there were condos, but we never stayed in them. We always got a nice small house. this is the first one in the series.

a few new pieces representing the changing of the seasons from winter to spring. I have spent the first part of this year redirecting, reorganizing and reworking my living/art studio arrangements. I’ve been remodeling our kitchen and rethinking my art work and ideas as a whole. I haven’t spent a great amount of time in the studio, but I’ve been constantly churning ideas and concepts and plans artistically for this year. revamp. rebirth. renew. it’s a beautiful thing.
